Back in 2015 (10 yrs ago already!), I had the opportunity to lead the Instrument Department through a major turnaround. It was a defining experience—shaped by years of lessons learned, and made possible by a plant culture that was both supportive and demanding. I’m grateful to have worked alongside a team that constantly pushed each other to grow and deliver our best.
If there is something i can say to young engineers joining the industry, always stay hungry to learn, and remain humble in receiving lessons from those with experience. Some of the most valuable insights come not from textbooks, but from the people who’ve walked the path before you.
Shoutout to those who i crossed paths in Port Dickson refinery. You know who you are!
